Chat Basics

A closer look at how conversations work in Tavina.

Sending Messages

Type your message in the text box at the bottom of the screen and press Enter or tap the send button. Your message appears instantly, and Tavina’s reply follows right after.

You can write short questions, long explanations, or anything in between. Tavina handles it all.

Multi-Turn Conversations

The real magic happens when you chat back and forth. Each reply builds on what came before.

For example:

1. You: “Plan a weekend trip to the coast.”
2. Tavina: Suggests a full itinerary.
3. You: “Make it budget-friendly and add a beach that’s good for kids.”
4. Tavina: Adjusts the plan with your new preferences.

You don’t have to repeat yourself — Tavina remembers the context of your entire conversation.

How Tavina Remembers

Within a single conversation, Tavina keeps track of everything you’ve discussed. This means:

  • You can refer back to earlier ideas without restating them.
  • Follow-up questions are understood in context.
  • You can refine answers over multiple turns.

This memory only lasts within the same conversation. When you start a new conversation, Tavina starts fresh.

Message Tips

  • Split complex ideas. If you have a big request, it’s okay to break it into a few messages.
  • Ask for changes. Don’t like the format? Say “put that in a table” or “make it shorter.”
  • Clarify when needed. If Tavina misunderstands, just explain what you meant. It adapts quickly.
  • Mix text and voice. Switch between typing and speaking whenever it’s convenient.

Formatting in Responses

Tavina can respond in different formats to suit what you need:

  • Lists — bullet points or numbered steps
  • Tables — organized comparisons or schedules
  • Paragraphs — detailed explanations
  • Short answers — quick facts or confirmations

Just ask! For example, “show me that as a table” or “give me a quick summary.”

Long Conversations

Tavina can handle long conversations with many messages. However, very long chats may eventually reach a limit on how much context Tavina can hold at once.

If you notice Tavina “forgetting” earlier parts of a very long conversation, try starting a new chat and summarizing what you need.
