Your First Conversation
Welcome to Tavina! Let’s get you talking with your new AI assistant.
Sending Your First Message
1. Open Tavina at app.tavina.ai and sign in.
2. You’ll land on the conversation screen — a clean chat area with a text box at the bottom.
3. Type anything you’d like to say and press Enter or tap the send button.
4. Tavina will respond in just a moment.
That’s it — you’re chatting!
How Tavina Responds
Tavina reads your message, thinks about what you need, and writes back. Responses usually arrive in a few seconds.
If you’ve enabled voice, you can also speak to Tavina and hear the reply out loud. Just tap the microphone icon to start talking.
Conversation History
Everything you and Tavina discuss stays in the conversation. Scroll up to re-read earlier messages. Tavina remembers what you’ve talked about within the same conversation, so you can build on ideas naturally.
Your conversations are saved automatically. Find them in the sidebar anytime you want to pick up where you left off.
Starting a New Conversation
Want a fresh start?
- Click or tap the new conversation button in the sidebar.
- A clean chat opens — Tavina won’t carry context from your previous conversation.
This is handy when you switch topics completely, like going from planning a trip to writing an email.
Tips for Great Results
- Be specific. Instead of “help me with dinner,” try “give me a quick pasta recipe with spinach and garlic.”
- Give context. “I’m planning a birthday party for a 7-year-old” works better than “party ideas.”
- Ask follow-ups. If the first answer isn’t quite right, say what you’d like changed. Tavina remembers.
- Try different formats. Ask for lists, step-by-step instructions, comparisons, or summaries.
- Use your voice. Tap the microphone to speak instead of typing — great when your hands are full.
