Your Profile & Settings

Tavina works great out of the box, but a few quick tweaks can make it feel even more personal.

Opening Settings

1. Look for the gear icon (⚙️) in the sidebar or top menu.
2. Tap or click it to open your settings.

You’ll see sections for your profile, preferences, and account.

Your Profile

Your profile holds the basics Tavina uses to personalize your experience:

  • Display name — what Tavina calls you in conversation.
  • Time zone — so reminders and calendar events show the right times.
  • Location — used for weather and local suggestions.

To update any of these, just edit the field and save. Changes take effect right away.

Notification Preferences

Choose how and when Tavina gets your attention:

  • Push notifications — get reminders and updates on your phone or desktop.
  • Notification timing — set quiet hours so you’re not bothered during sleep.

You can turn notifications on or off anytime. Tavina won’t send anything you haven’t asked for.

Customizing Your Assistant

Make Tavina feel like yours:

  • Assistant name — call it whatever you like. Some people keep “Tavina,” others choose a personal name.
  • Personality — adjust the tone. Prefer short and direct answers? Warm and chatty? You decide.

These settings change how Tavina talks to you, but don’t affect what it can do.

Managing Your Account

  • Sign in and out from the settings screen or the sign-in page at tavina.ai.
  • Change your password through your account settings.
  • Your data — conversations, notes, tasks, and all your content stays linked to your account.

Tips

  • Set your time zone first — it makes calendar and weather features much more useful.
  • Try different personality settings until Tavina’s tone feels natural to you.
  • If you use Tavina on multiple devices, your settings sync automatically.

If something isn’t working as expected in settings:

  • Try refreshing the page.
  • Make sure you’re signed in to the correct account.
  • Check that your changes were saved — look for a confirmation message.
