Tools Overview

Tavina isn’t just a chat assistant — it comes with built-in tools that help you stay organized, plan meals, track tasks, and more. You don’t need to open separate apps. Just ask Tavina.

How Tools Work

Every tool is available right in your conversation. There’s nothing to install or enable. Just tell Tavina what you need, and it uses the right tool automatically.

For example, say “add milk and eggs to my shopping list” and Tavina updates your list instantly.

⏰ Clock & Calendar

Check the time, look at your schedule, and manage events — all through conversation. Say “what’s on my calendar today?” or “schedule a meeting tomorrow at 2pm.”

Tavina can also set reminders so you never miss something important.

✅ Tasks

Keep track of your to-do list without leaving the chat. Add tasks, mark them done, and ask what’s still on your list.

Try saying “add ‘call the dentist’ to my tasks” or “show me my open tasks.”

🛒 Shopping

Build and manage shopping lists for groceries, household items, or anything else. Say “add paper towels to my shopping list” or “what’s on my list?”

You can even organize by store or category by asking Tavina to sort it for you.

📝 Notes

Jot down quick notes, ideas, or things to remember. They’re saved and searchable through conversation.

Say “note: the WiFi password is tuna-salad-42” or “show me my notes about the car.”

🔗 Links

Save interesting links and find them later. Tavina keeps a personal bookmark collection for you.

Try “save this link: https://example.com/great-recipe” or “find my links about gardening.”

🌤️ Weather

Get current weather and forecasts for any location. Just ask and Tavina checks the latest conditions.

Say “what’s the weather like today?” or “will it rain this weekend in Portland?”

🍳 Cookbook

Browse recipes, plan meals, and get cooking help. Tell Tavina what ingredients you have, and it suggests what you can make.

Try “I have chicken, rice, and broccoli — what can I make?” or “plan dinners for this week.”

Using Multiple Tools Together

The best part? Tools work together naturally. You can say:

  • “Plan dinners for the week and add the ingredients to my shopping list.”
  • “Check the weather for Saturday and add a reminder to mow the lawn if it’s sunny.”
  • “Save this recipe link and note that I want to try it this weekend.”

Tavina handles the coordination — you just talk.
